How do I remove full screen on Galaxy S8?

My Galaxy S8 updated yesterday, and so many of my apps went to full screen. I DO NOT like it. I have already gone through the settings and clicked off of everything that was set for full screen, but those apps are still on full screen. Please help! This is driving me crazy!!!

swipe up from the bottom of the display.
The bottom bar should reappear temporarily.
Double tap the left side of the bar to make it permanent.
