Hello

How do I remove swipe lock when I have pattern unlock?

i.e. I don't want to have to swipe vertically up AND swipe my pattern when I am unlocking my phone phone if I haven't used it for a minute or two.

PS I have a Galaxy Note 10 plus, running Andoird 11 (latest)

Unfortunately you can't (not in stock). If you have set your phone to remain unlocked for a certain period of time after a successful user authentication, the system will still force the use of a lockscreen (i.e. Swipe). Only way to get rid of it is to have a lockscreen replacement app (not sure those are still a thing for a while).

I actually saw that while setting up my phone. Had the option somewhere to immediately open with fingerprint or pin. Not sure if there is an option to change after setup.

Wait, but what's the point of a vertical swipe, when I'm about to unlike with a pattern?

If necessary is there any way that I can stop the phone from locking after a certain time? (But still require a pattern to be completed?)

EDIT: e.g. Maybe I could set it to become locked if I hit the power button?

How do you unlock now? Do you use fingerprint or PIN or both?
