How do I remove the swipe screen?

I think my tablet came with KitKat in December of 2013. I set the home screen to have no security feature. No password, no pin or even swipe to unlock. Several months ago I upgraded to Lollipop and haven't used my tablet much since then. Starting to use it again and I can't find a way to remove the swipe screen. Swipe offers no security but I'd rather not even do that. But the option of "none" is gone. Is there a way to not even have to swipe the screen to get to the home screen?
