How Do I Reset Text Default For A Contact To Standard Text

I recently got an Samsung Galaxy S4 and although I have been enjoying it I must have in the first days of receiving it accidently assigned Viber as the default as the text default for one of my contacts.

I at first assumed it defaults to Viber when I synced my Viber account to the phone for those similarly with a Viber account, as when I received a text from a friend who does not have Viber account the standard phone text prompts occur. However ,when one of my friends with a Viber account texts me (not using Viber) then the phone always defaults to a Viber text window for my response on the unlock page and in the status plane.

However ,this afternoon I asked friends who have a Viber account to text me and the phone defaulted to the standard text window. Therefore the issue only seems to occur with one particular friend.

Can someone please help me and advise how I can reset the default text for a particular contact so that I can use the phone standard and not Viber. I have trawled the settings of the main phone and the applications but nothing obvious stands out.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks!

Go to Settings -> More -> Application Manager...the slide to "All"
Scroll down and click on Viber, then click "Clear Defaults"

I got to the location but the button "clear defaults" was greyed out with the text "No defaults set" next to it.

Would the top button of "Force Stop" work?

Probaby not, you can uninstall Viber, which should allow you to choose the default for the contact the reinstall Viber after you do so
