how do i root a acer iconia A500 3.2.1

I'm new to all this but I know rooting is the way to go I've been reading up on rooting and it seems there is not a root out yet so any ideas

Problem that I had, when I had tracked links down and decided to so this around January, was that links to files all led to MegaUpload and were unavailable.
