How do I root my LG ACCESS LTE?

I just got an Straight Talk LG ACCESS LTE/LGL31L and I would like to know how to root the phone? I apologize beforehand, I am technologically challenged so please be patient with me. Thank you in advance for any responses

Check at XDA Forums. I don't think there's a direct root for 4.4.4 yet - you have to flash a 4.4.2 kernel, root, then flash the 4.4.4 kernel back. (It's not complicated, just following a lot of steps carefully and, if someone at XDA has figured it out for the Access, they'll post the instructions, links to any files you need, etc. Create an account and you can ask questions.

Everyone (except those of us who were born knowing everything) have to start somewhere.

TowelRoot should work. That's how you root most LG Phones. But is there really a 4.4.4 version for this phone? I am sure it runs 4.4.2. If it ran 4.4.4, why can't my LG Ultimate 2 run 4.4.4?
