how do i root v9 with no screen?

Ho do I root after reverting to V9 from VD. I cant see the screen. Do i flash a custom recovery. I will not be installing a custom rom. I want to stay rooted with VD.

Check out the first page of the revert to zv9 thread. In red there are a couple of paragraphs that address this and a link to download Android Screencast. Make sure you read everything carefully before you do anything!
