How do I save a picture in a mms to my HTV Evo phone

Does anyone know how to save a picture that's sent to my HTV Evo to my gallery? When I get a picture it's sent as a slideshow and I've tried the long press and tried the menu to see if I could save it there and nothing works.

Long press the picture until the menu pops up, that should work

Try this: Go to your message with the MMS picture in it. touch the picture so it expands it. tap the screen again and a bar should come up on the bottom. The right most icon should be save option.

The phone icon when you open the photo should save it.

ETA: Sorry Auzo didn't see your post. OP that option should save it to your downloads folder in the gallery.
