How do I set Google as my homepage on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4?

Samsung galaxy tab s 8.4 help

When I go to chrome the home page is blank apart from appearing to be hijacked by the network it is on (3) in the the corner it is just asking me to download some app about managing my account which I did but still nothing, how do I get google as my homepage I cannot find an option in tools.

When in Chrome, open a new tab. It should bring up the Google search bar with recently visited pages towards the bottom. Is this what you are looking for?
