Android Central Question

I have a Moto G 2nd Gen running Android 6.0. I have formatted the SD Card as Internal memory but any existing or new apps use ONLY the internal 8Gb of memory. Therefore I am constantly told "not enough memory" when trying to download new apps. How do I set to actually use the SD Card?

Go to Settings, Apps, Downloaded, tap each one to open it, tap Storage, and you'll find that you can change the storage location from Internal to SD card.

Welcome to Android Central! Lenovo notoriously did not implement Adoptable Storage very well -- this is a common complaint on Moto phones. If belodion's suggestion doesn't help, I'm not sure if there's anything you can do about it.

I'll just add that it's what I have to do on my Moto E, custom-rommed to Marshmallow precisely for the adoptable storage option. It works after a fashion.
