AC Question
I am trying to configure my Verizon LG G4 to work on the T-Mobile network. I put my t-mobile SIM in. The notification bar shows a SIM card with a question mark in it.
1) I played around with the network / APN settings, and got voice, text, and data to work, but the notification bar at the top showed "H" with double arrows. From my research, H is a little faster than 3G but certainly not LTE speed. I confirmed this using Ookla speedtest.
2) After more tinkering with the network / APN settings, the phone now shows 4G LTE with double arrows in the notification bar. Speedtest confirms faster data speed. LTE discovery app shows it using Band 4. However, voice and text do not work. When I try to place a call, it says "No SIM card. SIM card error." If I try to call my phone from a landline, it goes straight to voicemail.
I must be missing something here. I don't think there is anything wrong with my SIM card because it works fine in my t-mobile phone and did work in the Verizon phone with H speed data.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
