how do I speedup charging on new battery for gtp511?

I purchased a new battery for my gtp5113 samsung tab 2.
the new battery takes forever to charge. Is there something else I can do to speed up charging? a

The tablet is designed to draw a certain amount of current during charging. If it's using that much current to run there's nothing left for charging, so the battery will never charge. The fastest way to charge the battery is to turn the tablet off.
