How to stop Easy Home

I'm very pleased with my LG G4 - a great phone BUT have one major issue which is wrecking my life. Whenever I press to go to my "Home Page" I am asked to select between Home and Easy Home - I select "Always" for Home but it continually asks me to select between Home and Easy Home most of the time. Always isn't always on my phone??

Believe me I have gone through everything multiple times - to be able to Disable Easy Home is greyed out on that screen.

I am at a total loss can anyone help me please

Does the problem also occur in Safe Mode?

Not sure what Safe Mode is? not done that...............

It tests whether a third-party app may be causing trouble. If the trouble stops when in Safe Mode, that is indicated, and the app responsible must be identified and uninstalled.
To enter Safe Mode, long-press Power as if to power off, then long-press the Power Off option. The option to enter Safe Mode will then appear.
Exit Safe Mode by a Power Off and Restart.

I know it's a bit drastic, as it means switching launchers, but try out Nova launcher.

I've tried that. New screen pop up has all three, but they don't stop.

My launcher selection looks like the attached screenshot (if I clear the default).

Can you confirm that you have "use as default app" checked? I know it seems obvious, but it's the first thing to eliminate.

It doesn't give me the option for set as Default. I'm on Verizon as well and it did it before and after June 30th update. I downloaded nova to try it out but as you can see I get the same message.

You would think so but mine rarely remembers defaults either.

Exactly so. Strange this isn't working for the OP. I truly hate to suggest a factory reset, but that's something to consider. BTW, have you cleared your cache? I'd start with all the launchers, then graduate to the system level. It can't hurt.

Ok, I think I found the fix online. It said to download Nova Launcher which I already had, then open Nova settings from the app list. The settings will tell you what app is causing you the issues. For me it was "Connect for Hotmail" which I loved, but I deleted it. So far as of now, no more issues! I hope it stays that way.
