how to stop the touch pad beep on my Motorola G

My mobile has suddenly started to make a loud irritating beep at each digit I dial. How can I stop this? I have tried going to settings and there is no option on or mention of touchpad sounds.

Hi, welcome to the forums! Try this. Go to settings - sound & notifications - other sounds - switch off anything you don't like. Also try in your keyboard settings. Which one are you using?
