How do I switch Roms?

Is there a way I can switch Roms without going back to stock? I installed the Legendary Rom, but it keeps doing force closes, and says I'm running out of space. I still have 7 gigs on the SD card, but for some reason the USB Storage is full, and I can't move anything to the card. I have Clockwork on the phone. All I want to do is try a new Rom without having to reinstall all of my apps.

Thanks

Have you tried using Titanium to backup all your apps? I was hesitant at first as well but after using Titanium I have no problem switching ROMs weekly as it reinstalls all your apps and all your data. Definitely give it a try.

You don't need to go back to stock to switch to another ROM. Just flash it in CWM. As the previous poster said, use Titanium or MyBackup root to backup your apps and data and you can restore them in your new ROM.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you have 7 gigs free on your SD card? What shows you this if it says your USB storage is full? Is this displayed on the phone or when you attach to a computer? Anyway, the force closes could be resolved by fixing permissions in CWM, so if you have no other issues with Legendary, you may want to consider doing that first and seeing if that helps.

Just a heads up, nothing wrong with discussing this topic but lets try to post rooting and hacking question in the Epic 4G Rooting, ROMs, and Hacks section ;)

Keeps everything nice and neat for the members and the moderators...

Don't worry about it, I will have one of the mods move this thread over to the proper section.

Carry on.
