How do I sync an M8 with an HP11 Chromebook?

How to sync an M8 with an HP11 chromebook.

I've used an hp 11 chromebook for a while and like it a lot for its speed but having just changed from an iphone 5 to an htc one m8 I can't sync anything as the htc sync manager won't work on chrome. The idea was to simplify syncing everything from google not make it worse.

Does anyone have a solution as I am not very techy?

Welcome to Android Central! HTC Sync is a Windows or Mac program, so it won't work on a Chromebook. What are you trying to sync with a computer? If you use Google+ Photos to upload all of your photos on the phone, and if you use Google Drive to save all of your documents, and if you use Google Play Music/Movies/Books for all of your multimedia needs, then you've already taken care of much of what any sync program can do. That's the idea behind a Chromebook--it's a Google product, so it's not surprising that they would focus on their own services. If you're willing to take the plunge, then it can really work quite well.
