How do i take a selfie without the auto beauty feature?

Whenever I go to take a selfie it automagically recognizes my face, gets this yellow circle, and softens it and makes it look fake and I don't know how to turn it off.

It's awful isn't it! I don't think you can turn it off, another camera app may be the only answer here...
