How to transfer an app on a tablet and not lose data

I am getting a Nexus 7 2013 2nd generation tablet and want to transfer my Candy Crush data from my 2012. How can I do that on a tablet? Most of the answers refer to a phone but there is no sim card on my tablet to work with.

You could also try Helium - it works just like a backup app, but I don't know if it'll restore a backup on one device to another device. It's free though, so all you'll lose is a few minutes if it doesn't work.
