how to I transfer data from Galaxy 5 "memo" app onto my computer?

I have my phone connected to my computer. I have gone into most of the folders that show up, but none of them appear to contain the notes I made in the memo section. I am very new to using a smart phone. thank you for any help.

If you want to take notes that will then be accessible from a computer I suggest using the Google Keep app. While it may lose some features compared to other apps, the transportability of the data is a significant benefit. The site to access your notes is http://keep.google.com

I guess to answer your question, there may not be a way to do what you want to do. That "Memos" app likely stores the data in a proprietary database.

You can go to your memos and click the settings menu and click "select". Then check the memo
you want to move and the "share via" icon will appear. Select one of the items that you can best use.

The only downside is you can only move one at a time.

This worked on my Galaxy Tab "A" MEMO app, too. I was able to transfer 28 MEMOs in about 10 minutes. The first few took a while, but after I went through the process a few times, it went a lot faster. I'd estimate that I was able to do the last six in approx. one minute. The next batch I transfer will go a lot faster. Thanks for the suggestion!
