how do i transfer utorrent music downloads from my laptop to my android phone

i have utorrent music downloaded on my hp pavilion g6 laptop and want to transfer to my android phone and my phone will not tether.

Welcome to Android Central! Connect the phone via USB, swipe down the notification panel, tap the USB icon, and make sure MTP (or File Transfer) is selected. Then use Windows File Explorer to copy the files.

Look in μTorrent (Options, Preferences, Directories) to see where to copy it from, if you don't know.
