How Do I Transfer Video TO My Phone?

I have self produced video clips, and full length movies ripped from my DVD's on my computer, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to transfer them from my computer to my Optimus V phone so I can watch them on the go!! Can someone tell me how to do this? Even if it's incredibly simple, before all of my hair is ripped out?

1. Connect via USB cable
2. Turn on USB storage on phone
3. Drag and drop the videos
4. Find a video player app that will read your video format (Rockplayer is one)
5. ?????
6. Profit

An even easier method, use apps like File Expert which allow you to transfer files via wifi over your home network. Dropbox is also alot easier, but takes longer due to the fact you have to upload to dropbox, then download to your phone.

If you have a ton of Movies, give Plex a try. It will transcode your movies from your PC to your Optimus, Downside is, you need to run the Plex server on your PC and have pretty good upload.
