How do i turn 'media connections' back on in the drop down?

[Android Central Question]

I was attempting to disconnect a Bluetooth device and i hastily toggled off what i thought was the Bluetooth speaker but i actually deactivated a feature in the drop down menu that let me have quick control over connected devices (Bluetooth, Chromecast, Smartview...).
I can find in the settings how to reactivate this feature, please enlighten me.
