how do i turn off my slow charge?

my phone is still charging but its taking longer than it use to, my friend said its because I have it on slow charge. I want to know how to take it off of slow charge.

In order to speed up the charging process, turn off your phone and turn it on when the phone is full charged. This way the phone will be charged faster.
