How do I turn off notifications on my ZTE tracfone?

I've tried searching in Settings. I do not want notifications on the top of my screen!

Welcome to Android Central! You need to turn off notifications in each individual app, by opening the app, going to its settings, and looking for the notification settings there. If you don't see a setting, you can go to Settings>Apps​, select the app, and uncheck the Show Notifications box.
