My old Sprint HTC Evo had an option to uncheck "Always view mobile version of websites".

Is there any way I can do this on my Samsung?

Thanks!

It only stays that way for that session and then changes back. Any way to make it stay as default desktop?

Download ics browser +
It has a several settings for the agent. It has several other options that the stock browser is missing.

Try Dolphin browser. I find it more straight forward than the stock browser. Dolphin also has gesture features for controlling the browser and voice enabling for controlling the browser.

They have a settings switch for setting the browser agent. I like to go back & forth between desktop and mobile views.

what if u removed the "m." from the url and then bookmark that? would that work?

Sometimes the site pages have a check for OS or browser version and this lets it know that you are on a mobile device unless you use the desktop option where the device will identify itself as a desktop.
