How do I turn ON low battery notification on Moto G5 Plus (Android 8.1)?

I have a Moto G5 Plus, and when it reaches 15% battery I receive no alert message or sound, so I can miss it if I'm not using the phone, which lead to me finding the phone turned off on a number of occasions because of it. I found nothing in settings and I don't want to use a third party app.

Try resetting app preferences Settings > Apps > three dots > Reset app preferences > Reset apps.

Try Battery Notifier BT from the play store. You'll be able to set limits with notifications.
