How do I turn ON the camera shutter sound on a galaxy s6.

I've seen numerous websites detailing how to turn off the shutter sound but none the other way around. My camera does not make any sounds when I take a picture and there is no toggle in the settings to turn it back on. I haven't downloaded any app to turn off the sound either. I know the sound exists because when I take a screenshot it makes the familiar "click" but no sound when I take a picture with the camera.

Is there a hidden setting somewhere that I'm missing? I've tried resting all the camera settings but that didn't do anything. All my volume settings are correct.

Don't know which sites you visited, but have you read THIS

I have seen that website. Problem is I WANT my camera to make a sound and it currently does not. The option to turn the sound on or off is missing in my phone. Is there a different place where this setting could be?

Hi,
Have you got the answer because I have the same problem on my Galaxy note 5: there is no parameter to enable/disable the camera sound.
thanks

On my GS6, I launch the camera app, tap the settings icon in the top left, and towards the bottom of the settings list there is a toggle for "Shutter sound." You may have to tap on the arrow in the top right to bring up the quick camera menu that has the settings icon in it.

Go to setting tap sound ang vibration tap volume then tap system .maximise the volume of the system. Then u can have a sound when u take pictures.

Turn on the shuuter sound, Galaxy S5

When I open settings in the camera app on my Galaxy S5, the shutter sound button does not appear. But ... lo and behold ... the matrix of functions slides up three more rows, and in the second to last row at the right side is the shutter sound control button. Simple, but cleverly hidden!
