Welcome to Android Central! Pg 20 of the manual suggests that the phone doesn't have its own flashlight Quick Setting toggle: https://www.cricketwireless.com/con.../Z740G_Sonata4G_CRKT_UG_EN_3_6280_F040414.pdf. You can install a 3rd party toggle, but be careful -- there are tons of flashlight apps in the Play Store, and most are filled with annoying ads, and possibly worse. I suggest Notification Toggle, which creates a custom toggle bar in the swipedown notification panel. It works well and is free of ads.

If you do go for another flashlight app, make sure it only asks for Camera permission (since the LED flash is part of the Camera). A flashlight app shouldn't need access to your contacts, storage, etc.
