that's what I thought too, but there is no setting related to wifi calling. I thought I read in the specs that this phone does support wifi calling.

Since you're on T-Mobile, it's most likely not certified by T-Mobile to allow wifi calling. T-Mobile has to certify each unlocked phone for wifi calling or you don't get it. They may or may not ever certify the version of the Mate 10 Pro you have. They'll possibly certify the US version when it gets released in February.

No, t-mobile is cool so long as the phone will do it.. Found the Ota that came out 2 days ago but can't get it to flash yet... Don't want to root if I don't have too.... Bootloader is unlock able but JUST can't get this pesky update.zip to work... That Ota supports wifi calling.

You can receive a phone call to your wireless number on whatsapp?? My workaround has been to forward my calls to my Google voice number when I am not connected to a tower.. Oh, and I got that Ota to install but despite the release notes no wifi calling option.

Yeah, I talked to Huawei tech lvl3 and he said probably March but with the misleading changelog notes about 8.0.0.131 in the firmware who knows..

Hi

You can go to .. Dialer >> click on the three dots next to the green call button >> Wi-Fi calling , and you can toggle it off or on

I think it's the same as my device, unless your operator change it in yours.
