How do I unbrick device without PC?

[Android Central Question]

A while ago I used KingoRoot in an attempt to root my device. Somehow in the middle of the process my device was soft-bricked and stuck in a bootloop. I went into TWRP and tried a factory reset, but that didn't work. At the top of the screen I see "No OS Installed". I'm not sure if that's a reason why I can't boot my phone.

I can't troubleshoot through ADB since whenever I connect my phone to my PC it says it doesn't recognize the device. I've tried many drivers but none of them work.

What do I do to unbrick my phone?

I can't help with the problem at hand, but a word of advice: Kingroot and similar apps are known to install malware deep into the modified OS during their rooting to steal your private info (after all, a company isn't going to just give away such a valuable tool). If you get your phone recovered, I would either not bother rooting, or learn how to do it the proper way. The XDA forums are probably the best source for this sort of thing. It'll require more work on your part, but the developers there are a lot more trustworthy.

I doubt you got far enough to be at much risk, but there's no way to tell right now. So my suggestion is to use another device or computer to go change the passwords on all of your accounts just to be on the safe side, and enable 2-step authentication where possible.

I do know how to enter Odin mode, but the problem with flashing any ROM is that I can't get my computer to recognize the device. I've tried many drivers, but none of them worked.

That's a problem , if it can't recognize I don't think it's worth repairing as it's running very old hardware and software.
