How do I unlock a phone that has been locked with Find My Device without erqsing it?

Within a Google message on my computer, I saw Find My Device. Decided to check it out, set up password, then locked the phone. Now I can't unlock it! The only option seems to be erasing it! I did not install the App on the computer nor the phone.

"The app" is Android - it's an inherent function. And I don't think there's an "unlock my phone" option of any kind. You could try changing the password on the Android Device Manager site, wait 24 hours, and see if that fixes it. (Make sure you have some other way of receiving email on that account, like a PC - Google may send an email asking if the password change is okay. [They change things all the time.])
