Im trying the same thing. A friend gave me his htc desire 626 but when i try to set up the phone it says "this device was reset enter the previous gmail" bla bla he doesnt remember any off the info. Ive seen several people use software to bypass this. I don't have a personal computer to download random software. Ive also seen others use keyboard tricks to bypass this but my specific htc doesnt have some of the same options.
Is there a way to bypass this with out software??

You'll need to ask your friend for his Google account information.

This doesnt help me considering i cant get into the device. To turn off the frp. I know the gmail used on the phone but not the password for the gmail.

Duo you have a link to where i can download the xtc2 software. That software should help right??
