How do I unlock Samsung Galaxy Tab E?

I have two users on the tab. One is password locked and the other is swipe. When I change to the locked one the keyboard does not show up even after tapping the box. I have access to the other user and sometimes when trying to unlock and changing back it shows that "Samsung Keyboard has stopped working" or something.
