How do i unlock the network on my samsung galaxy s7 so i can use the sim card i bought.

I have a samsung galaxy s7. I want to unlock the network to use thr new sim i bought for it. It says" invalid sim card network locked SIM card inserted" in my notifications when i drag it down. Ive called the carrier and they said there's nothing they can do its unlocked as far as they can tell.

You'll need to the carrier of that phone or 3rd party unlock company

Welcome to Android Central! What's the exact model number of the phone, and which carrier are you using? Are you certain that phone supports the carrier's bands in the first place?

If it does, then as mustang7757 said, contact the carrier that the S7 was originally on and ask about their carrier unlock policy.
