How do I update my OS to Android Pie on my S9 that I bought in a different country?

I bought my S9 in Kuwait in the beginning of 2019. I currently reside in India. In the software updates it says my last security patch was in 2018 and I have the latest OS installed. But I do not.

I've tried updating my phone using Smart Switch on my laptop. Didn't work.

I tried resetting my phone completely. Didn't work either.

You'll need to use Odin to flash the firmware and can find either sammobile or xda forums the correct firmware and country code
