How to update to Lollipop with an unknown unlocked boot loader

I have an S4 (sch-i545) that at some point in the past had an unlocked boot loader installed. But I don't know what boot loader it is. If I power up with Power+VolDown I get a screen to install a custom OS (by pressing Volume up), but there is no version number displayed.

I want to upgrade from 4.3 to Lollipop (stock Verizon). Is that possible without losing my unlocked boot loader? How?
