How to Use Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 in Mexico, using Telcel?
I will be traveling to Mexico within about 3 months, and I want to make sure if I can use my Verizon phone with the Mexican phone company Telcel. I would like to use a Telcel sim card in order to not spend a fortune on an International Plan.
Is it as simple as changing the Preferred Network Mode to "LTE/GSM/UMTS", so that the sim card will work with my phone?
As for any information that may be relevant:
The Model Number is: SM-G900V
The Android Version is: 5.0
Current Network Mode is: "Global" (there are also "LTE/CDMA" and "LTE/GSM/UMTS" as options)
