how to watch movies from phone or tablet on my laptop?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and a Galaxy Tab S. I have Google Movie & TV app installed on both and downloaded some movies to my SD cards. If I download a movie on one device it does not show in the app as downloaded on the other devices app, so I know it must be going to the SD card; and if I swap SD cards I can watch the movie on the other device. BUT I cannot find where the file is kept on the SD card. I have looked in every folder. I want to watch the movie on my laptop and wonder how it can be transferred to the laptop if I cannot even find where the downloaded file is. Can it be watched on the laptop via Bluetooth perhaps?

Welcome to Android Central! If you download a movie from Google Play Movies, I believe it's intended for offline viewing on that device only. If you could freely transfer the file around, there would be risk for piracy. You should be able to use the Google Play Movies Chrome app on your computer's Chrome browser to view the movie.
