bring back an app that has been deleted...fo example...when i first got the phone i tossed out a bunch of the pre installed apps on the phone such as "musicFX and google street view"...they are still listed in the apps section in settings but my only options are force stop or disable...i would just unistall and then reinstall but that doesnt seem to be an option...how do i get them back on the phone?

Have you tried going to settings/apps/all/market & then clear the data, force stop & sign back in to the market?

yeah already done...but the market is not the problem, they are listed as installed in the market...how do i completely get them off the phone so i can do a reinstall?

If you're rooted, you can use Root Explorer to delete them from /system/app. You could also use Titanium Backup to uninstall them (requires root also)

how exactly did you "uninstall" the apps? you cannot do this to system apps unless you are rooted.

you can "disable' system apps in settings>apps>choose app and choose disable, this basically 'uninstalls" the app. but it can always be "enabled" bo going into settings>apps>move to the "all" tab and then scroll all the way down to the bottom, that is where all your disabled apps will be located.

if the maket shows them as installed, and they can be "disabled" in the settings, then the apps are actually installed and can be used.

i cant remember what i did exactly to "unistall"?...my only options is to either force stop or disable the app...when i click disable it just gives me the option to enable back...but how the hell do i get them back in the app drawer with its icon?...is that where i need to be rooted?

Sounds like they're there, can you see it in your apps list? It's been awhile since I haven't had nova launcher, but you can get your apps drawer button back by long pressing on your screen with nova launcher installed. I have a feeling once you get that button back, you'll be able to see all your apps.

Musicfx is an eq in the music app it won't come up in the app drawer also street view is apart of maps so it also won't show in the app drawer its part of these app functionality. So go into maps tap on your location and on the right it will say street view. In music app play a song hit menu and musicfx should be somewhere in there.

That makes sense but im positive that when the phone was new those apps had icons...just was curious as to how you could bring them back icon and all....factory restore maybe?

I think they were in the app drawer in the 4.0.1 version, but were removed from the app drawer when the phone upgraded to 4.0.2. If I remember correctly, then I doubt there is anything you can do to bring them back.
