Android Central Question

I heard about bloatware before I invested in my first Android - a Galaxy S10, so I purposely paid $1000 out of pocket at once to get an unlocked un-added up phone from Samsung. After all that, I find that there are STILL ADS POPPING UP. There's an annoying one from Norton Antivirus via Samsung that criticises my home internet everytime I connect and tells me I have to PAY A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION ON TOP OF MY EXPENSIVE INVESTMENT TO PROTECT MY PHONE. Well I don't want that, go away and get the **** off my phone! NOPE! Samsung says it's an advertisement and has greyed out all the toggles to stop or from popping up and annoying the **** out of my everytime I get home and try to use the internet in my own home! If this can't be disabled - and yes I tried all the "force close and clear cache and data" stuff - I am going back to the AD-FREE iPhone besides me because Apple doesn't have to pull that ****.

okay: OP here, I didn't click the verification link in the email before I posted this so it went to a guest account. Here are some screenshots. I started a support chat on FB with Samsung and they said they'd be with me shortly over two hours ago so I don't think they're going to bother answering me.

I am reading about rooting my phone to delete this stuff manually but also hear that it is very dangerous and quite frankly, after spending all this money on a phone I don't want to accidentally brick it. Anyone here have any advice on that?

I posted them below. It's just the fact that this pops up whenever I use wifi and I literally cannot disable it because Samsung says it's an ”advertisement" and "it cannot be turned off."

I already tried that. I went on the article three times earlier this week to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong but for some reason, after I force stop the app, clear the cache and data, it still pops up.

Go to settings > apps> scroll all the way down to secure wifi and tap choose storage clear data and cache this will reset the app and as long as you dont use it will stay off .

Hi , welcome!

If you have the US version no root , but even if you could I dont recommend it especially not knowing whats involved and will void phone warranty.
