How Do You Capture Screen Pic?

I've been seeing people post pictures of their battery usage etc. How do you take a snapshot of the screen?

Is there a setting that has to be "enabled" for this?!? I saw this in other threads previously and I've never been able to get it to work.

Not that I know of, you just need to hold it for a little bit (like a second and a half).
