How do you change default on Navigator?

I inadvertently set the default in Navigator (the blue arrow in apps) to VZ navigator (which costs to use!). now I cannot change it. I went to vz navigator and changed settings to deny so I cannot use it, yet when I click for directions or GO HOME in Navigator, it takes me back to VZ navigator. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this? I'm sure I'm doing something stupid as I'm a new droid user, but I sure can't find a way to change settings. settings only has ONE option and it has nothing to do with defaults.

ah i figured it out, i'm putting it here in case someone else has this problem. go to application manager in settings. click on vz navigator and click on clear defaults. simple duh!
