how do you change kernel's

Now that I'm finally rooted I've been reading how people try different kernels. How does that work?

Absolutely!! Without him I really don't think I would even be rooted. Seeing, step by step, is so much easier for the noob like me. That said, what do you think is the best kernel for the SFR 1.1.0 standard. Now that I'm rooted i want to 'play' with the phone some more just to see what the different Rom's do.

I personally never run anything but Twilight Zone! If you're not getting any freezes, stick with it (it's included) - it runs beautifully, and you can go up to 1.3ghz if you like.

If your device runs smoothly without freezing up then I would stick with Twilight unless your into fooling around then do as you please.

If it is starting to freeze up on you, then you have a few options.

1. Use SetCPU or OverClock Widget to bump your lower end number (100 Mhz) to 200 Mhz. My device and some others don't like running at the lower 100 Mhz and it causes random lockups. Bumping it to 200 Mhz solved this issue for me.

2. You can flash either Vision Kernel v1.1 (Sorta of a twin brother/sister of Twilight Kernel) with some minor changes that seem to work for those who have problems running Twilight Zone kernel.

3. You can flash the older version of Twilight Zone kernel v1.0.4 (look further down in the OP you will see the older versions) which has proven to be VERY solid for those which the above mentioned didn't resolve lockup/freezing issues.
