How do you change the default messaging app on the Galaxy Watch 4?

I would like to use Handcent SMS as my default text messaging app. I have the Handcent app installed on my watch but I can't seem to make it the default app as it was on my Watch 3.

I'm interested in this too.

I've used Next (Handcent) SMS on my phones for years. Currently have the S21 Ultra and Next is set as default message app.
I bought the watch a couple weeks ago through ATT. I installed Next SMS on the watch. I dont always receive texts with Next SMS. Seems hit or miss. I thought if there was a way to make it the default app on the watch I'd get them 100%
of the time.
