How do you change the lockscreen clock widget / add widgets to lock screen?

I'm a little disappointed in this feature because the reviews of it made it seem like you could have multiple widgets on one screen and really customize it to your liking.

There's always widget locker which has let you do this for years...

If you have your work email through an Exchange Server you cannot change your lock screen. This is done in the name of security, but no one knows how this makes anything more secure because you still have to enter your password before you can add a widgit to your home screen. Go figure.

I have heard that there is an app to use to work around, but didn't think it was worth the trouble. I may change my mind after a few weeks of having to enter a password to see my weather map.
