How do you change the lockscreen wallpaper ?

I found where you can set lockscreen wallpaper but it only gives me a choice of 5 stock images. I know it's possible to use any image but I don't know how.

Can anyone help?

Select an image from the gallery, hit menu, then "set as"

Mine only has 'set as... contact photo or wallpaper'
