Jail break is an iOS term.

The DROID MAXX 2 should not be SIM locked.

It's not jailbreak it's unlock unless u want to root but to answer ur question...there few online places where u can buy an unlock code for Android from 6.99$ up average price is 20$ this will let u use any provider or just call ur provider pay and have it unlocked.
