How Do You Refresh Friends List in Official Facebook App?

I tried searching for an answer for this, but haven't had any luck. I joined Facebook this weekend and installed the official app. When I accept friend requests, the new friends don't show up in the Friends list. I can't find a refresh on the Friends list screen, and hitting refresh on other screens where I can doesn't refresh the friends list. The only way I've figured out to do it is to uninstall and reinstall the app. This is on a Droid X with 2.1-update1. Any ideas?

I think you need to enable contact syncing for the facebook application for the list to update. Not 100% positive on this though.
