Been trying to remove this and can't figure it out. I unchecked a few things but the weather randomly shows up in my notification bar and I would like it not to... to save battery.
How Do You Remove Weather info in Notification Tray?

Have you checked off those boxes in in-app settings from your Settings app? Perhaps root around in your weather app's permissions and see if there's anything else about notifications there. I'm assuming you can't swipe it away - that feature annoyed me too on my G3. I forget how I turned it off, though.

it says google app. when I click on it I go into the settings and unchecked notifications for weather but it still shows up a few times during the day... really want to get rid of it.

yeah I did that but there are a lot of settings in this google app and I unchecked what I thought what make it go away but it still pops up. so not sure what to do.

ok I think it was the now cards in the google app. I am sure that is a huge battery drain so I disabled the feed when you open the google bar on the home screen. I don't need to know how long it takes me to get home everyday. Hoping this helps and gets better battery life.
