How do you root an Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 6039S?

I have a Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 6039S, running 6.0.1 and tried Knigroot and failed to root it. I also have a mac and no pc. Preferably a method that involves no computer connection and I have no TWRP. Any ideas or solutions? Thanks
